The Eurovent PLATFORM SET UNI is a platform in a complete assembly set consisting of two brackets, two Eurovent® GRIP pendulums, a set of mounting screws and the Eurovent® platform. The elements made of galvanized steel form a complete system for safe traffic on the roof slope with an angle of 15˚ to 60˚. The set is available in several colour versions painted with powder paint according to RAL chart.

Application and Technical Data
The Eurovent® PLATFORM SET UNI chimney platform is used as a roof access element enabling safe and efficient movement of the chimney sweep in the chimney area. The set includes all components required for platform installation. Thanks to a wide range of brackets, the product can be adapted to almost any type of roof covering. Installation is recommended on roof slopes with a pitch from 15° to 60°.

To ensure maximum safety and durability of the roof access system, Eurovent® PLATFORM SET UNI should be used in combination with:
- the Eurovent® VISTA DUO roof hatch, enabling convenient and safe access to the roof slope,
- Eurovent® roof clips, which stabilise and secure the roofing in the platform installation area,
- Eurovent® highly vapour-permeable roof membranes, protecting the roof structure against moisture and condensation,
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, increasing the tightness and durability of installation joints.
The use of complete system solutions Eurovent® guarantees safety of use, fixing durability and full integration of roof access elements with the roof structure.
GOOD TO KNOW
What does UNI mean in the roof-access system?
It is a version designed for specified flat coverings, including bitumen shingles. However, “UNI” does not mean that the set can be installed on any roof without checking the structure.
Is PLATFORM SET UNI suitable for roof tiles?
Dedicated SUPPORT DB-DC or BIBER solutions are available for roof tiles. The UNI set must be used within the range of coverings specified in its documentation.
Does the structure beneath the covering matter?
Yes. The bracket must be correctly fixed to a structural member capable of carrying the system loads.
Can UNI be used with bitumen shingles?
This application is indicated in the current product documentation, provided installation follows the instructions.
Does the term “universal” remove the need to choose the sealing method?
No. Every penetration and fixing within the covering must be made so that the roof’s watertightness is maintained.
