TOPBAND
The single-sided tape Eurovent® TOPBAND is designed for sealing and repairing roof membranes and other polypropylene-based construction materials. Made of polypropylene nonwoven and acrylic dispersion adhesive, the tape protects against the penetration of moisture and wind while retaining the vapour-permeability of the membrane with its breathing surface.

Recommended for repairing all kinds of damages such as holes, cuts and installation punctures. Binds with surfaces such as wood, brick and smooth concrete.

To ensure maximum performance of TOPBAND, it is recommended to use it as part of a complete roofing system together with:

Why is TOPBAND designed specifically for roof membranes?
Its carrier is polypropylene nonwoven fabric, a material compatible with typical PP membranes. The tape allows tight bonding and repairs without creating an unnecessary vapour diffusion barrier.
Does TOPBAND remain vapour-permeable?
Yes. The tape is breathable across its entire surface, an important advantage when repairing and joining highly vapour-permeable membranes.
Can it be used to repair tears in a membrane?
Yes. It is suitable for repairing holes, cuts and minor damage caused during roofing work.
Does TOPBAND bond only to membranes?
No. It can also bond to wood, brick and smooth concrete, provided the surfaces have been properly prepared.
When should TOPBAND be chosen instead of a universal tape?
Especially when working with a PP-based roof or housewrap membrane and wanting to preserve its vapour-permeable properties.
