MAUER HDPE
The Eurovent® MAUER HDPE damp-proof course is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Its specially embossed surface provides anti-slip properties and ensures good bonding with masonry mortar.

Application and Technical Data
Eurovent® MAUER HDPE is designed as a horizontal damp-proof course to protect buildings with and without basements against capillary rising damp. It provides a durable horizontal moisture barrier on strip foundations beneath load-bearing walls, wall plates and partition walls, offering an alternative to bituminous roofing felt.
Joints can be bonded with adhesive or sealed using a suitable tape. Eurovent® MAUER HDPE is sensitive to UV radiation, which may reduce its performance and cause material degradation. Direct and indirect exposure to UV radiation should therefore be avoided, and the membrane should be covered immediately after installation.

For maximum effectiveness of the horizontal damp-proof course and long-term protection against capillary rising damp, Eurovent® MAUER HDPE should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® foundation membranes (e.g. GEO 8, GEO 20), which protect foundation walls against ground moisture,
- Eurovent® filtration geotextiles, which protect waterproofing layers against mechanical damage and clogging,
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which ensure tight connections at junctions between horizontal and vertical waterproofing,
- Eurovent® installation accessories (fixing profiles, nails), which enable quick and secure installation of system components.
Using complete Eurovent® system solutions provides a durable moisture barrier, effective structural protection and long-term protection of foundations.
