Foundation membrane
GEO 8
The embossed, waterproof foundation membrane is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with a thickness of 0.4–0.8 mm. It is designed for waterproofing and drainage systems, retaining walls and foundation walls, floor slabs, sealing drainage trenches and channels, as well as for use as a protective layer against mechanical damage to waterproofing layers.
Available in weights: 400, 500 and 600 g.

Application and Technical Data
Eurovent® GEO 8 foundation membrane is suitable for vertical damp-proofing of foundation walls. It creates an effective protective barrier against groundwater, moisture and plant roots. Thanks to its embossed structure, it also functions as a drainage and ventilation layer, supporting moisture removal and helping to equalise hydrostatic pressure.
It is also suitable for horizontal insulation on terraces and balconies, protecting structural layers against moisture, mechanical damage and capillary moisture.

For maximum effectiveness of damp-proofing and long-lasting protection of foundation structures, Eurovent® GEO 8 should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® filter geotextiles, which support ground stabilisation and separation,
- Eurovent® drainage mats and drainage accessories, which improve water drainage from the soil,
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which ensure tight connections with vertical and horizontal waterproofing layers,
