Expanding tape
COMPRE X
Single-sided expanding tape made of flexible polyurethane foam impregnated with modified acrylic. The pre-compressed tape expands after installation, increasing its thickness up to five times. Its primary applications include sealing joints and gaps, as well as providing thermal and acoustic insulation.

Application and Technical Data
Suitable for sealing gaps in building and roofing structures, particularly in ridge, valley and roof window areas. It effectively seals joints and cavities, including those around roof valleys, providing reliable protection against moisture, wind, rain and cold. The tape adheres excellently and adapts to a variety of substrates, including wood, brick, metal and smooth concrete, ensuring durable and long-lasting sealing performance.

To achieve maximum performance of Eurovent® COMPRE X, it is recommended to use it as part of a complete system together with:

How does COMPRE X work after being unrolled?
The tape is factory-compressed. After installation it gradually expands and fills the gap. Its thickness can increase approximately fivefold.
Where on a roof can COMPRE X be used?
Around valleys, ridges, roof windows and other areas where an irregular gap needs filling.
Does the tape only fill the gap?
No. It also reduces the penetration of wind, rain, moisture and cold air and improves acoustic insulation.
Which substrates can it bond to?
Wood, brick, metal or smooth concrete, after proper surface preparation.
How is the COMPRE X size selected?
According to the width of the gap that the tape must fill after expansion. A version that is too small or too large may not function correctly.
