Reaction to fire class B1

The B1 classification under the German standard DIN 4102 identifies flame-retardant materials.

Products marked B1 are accepted in many European countries as safe solutions for interiors and lightweight timber structures. They are widely used in prefabrication, timber frame construction and energy-efficient buildings. They resist spontaneous ignition and self-extinguish once the source of fire is removed.
