Application and Technical Data
The snowstopper Eurovent SNOWSTOP DC-4 used on sloping roofs as an element breaking snow - a snowstopper. It is fixed by an additional batten or by single roof tiles with a specially profiled ending. Thanks to its use, large amounts of snow sliding down from the roof are broken down into smaller pieces, therefore they do not pose a threat to people in the neighbourhood of the building.

GOOD TO KNOW
How do SNOWSTOP point snow guards differ from snow fences or tubes?
SNOWSTOP elements are distributed individually across the roof and help break up and disperse sliding snow, while fences and tubes form continuous barriers.
Can SNOWSTOP be combined with a snow fence?
Yes, such systems can complement one another, provided the layout is properly designed.
Why are there DB and DC-1 to DC-9 versions?
They have different shapes and fixing details for different roof-tile groups.
When is SNOWSTOP METAL used?
For the roof coverings specified for that version in current product documentation.
Will a few randomly positioned snow guards provide effective protection?
No. Their quantity and layout are important and should reflect the roof and expected snow loads.
