Ridge tape
ROLL STANDARD
The Eurovent® ROLL STANDARD ridge tape, single-layer ventilating tape for ridge and hips. Made of profiled aluminium sheet, polypropylene woven fabric and butyl self-adhesive tape. An additional reinforcement of the combination of aluminum sheet and polypropylene fabric is the sewing of these two materials with a special thread.

Application and Technical Data
The Eurovent® ROLL STANDARD ridge tape is used as a ventilation and protective element for horizontal and sloping ridges. It protects the roof slope against the penetration of wind-driven snow, rain, moisture, dust and debris from the ridge area, while ensuring ventilation from the side of the thermal insulation. Thanks to the range of tape widths from 240 to 390 mm, it is suitable for use under almost all types of roof coverings, including ceramic tiles, concrete tiles, metal roofing tiles, trapezoidal sheets and profiled aluminium sheets.
Composition: profiled aluminium sheet, a single-layer PP technical woven fabric and two butyl adhesive strips.

What is Eurovent® ROLL STANDARD used for?
Eurovent® ROLL STANDARD is a ventilating ridge and hip roll designed for horizontal ridges and sloping hips. It provides roof ventilation while helping to protect the roof structure against wind-driven snow, rain, moisture, dust and dirt.
What roof coverings can ROLL STANDARD be used with?
It is suitable for most common roof coverings, including clay and concrete tiles, metal roof tiles, trapezoidal sheeting and profiled aluminium roofing.
How is ROLL STANDARD installed?
The roll is laid along the ridge or hip batten. The profiled aluminium side strips are shaped to the roof covering and bonded using the integrated butyl adhesive strips.
What is the purpose of the butyl adhesive?
The butyl adhesive ensures durable bonding to the roof covering and helps protect the ridge area against wind-driven precipitation.
How should the width of ROLL STANDARD be selected?
The width should be matched to the profile and dimensions of the roof covering and ridge construction. Several widths are available for different roof tile and metal profiles.
