MAXI
The Eurovent® MAXI roof membrane, three-layer, highly vapour-permeable, used for insulated and ventilated sloping roofs, also with full sarking. It is characterised by increased resistance to tearing, which obviously increases the comfort of work at the same time. Suitable for roof coverings such as concrete, clay, metal tiles, aluminium sheets, also in frame construction. Available as an option with 2 self-adhesive tapes - SYSTEM SK2.

Application and Technical Data
Eurovent® MAXI is ideally suited for both new roofs and the renovation of pitched, ventilated and insulated roofs. Thanks to its high durability, it can also be used in demanding installation conditions, while its versatility allows application under ceramic tiles, concrete tiles, metal roofing tiles and other roof coverings.
Installation guidelines / warranty
The membrane should be installed on rafters or full boarding using battens and counter-battens. The final roof covering must be installed no later than 4 weeks after laying the membrane. Within 12 weeks, the attic thermal insulation must be installed or the attic must be shaded. The warranty is valid only if the installation instructions and technical data sheet are strictly followed.
SK2 system
The SK2 version with two self-adhesive strips enables effective and durable bonding of overlaps even under unfavourable conditions such as wind, rain, low temperatures or contaminated surfaces. The overlap width must be selected according to the roof pitch and the installation instructions. For roof pitches below 25°, the instructions specify a 20 cm overlap.

In order to achieve maximum durability and full functionality, Eurovent® MAXI should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes
- Compatible ventilation accessories (ridge tapes, ventilation chimneys)
- Eurovent® system vapour control membranes and wind barrier membranes
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions increases the durability and energy efficiency of the entire roof.

What roofs is Eurovent® MAXI designed for?

Can MAXI be laid directly on thermal insulation?
Yes. Direct contact with insulation is permitted, so no additional ventilation gap is required beneath the membrane.

What coverings can MAXI be used under?

Two integrated adhesive strips allow overlaps to be sealed quickly and tightly. This improves continuity of the roofing underlay and speeds up installation.
