HYDRAL
Eurovent® HYDRAL mounting adhesive tape is made of water-resistant paper and a special acrylic dispersion-based adhesive that is solvent-free and chlorine-free. It is designed for indoor use for bonding and repairing plastic vapour control membranes and foils, as well as for sealing joints between wood-based materials, plasterboard and gypsum fibre boards. Eurovent® HYDRAL has been certified by the Passive House Institute in airtightness class phA as a component of the Eurovent® CLIMA X system. It also holds the GEV EMICODE® EC1 PLUS certification, confirming very low emissions of harmful substances and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Application and Technical Data
Eurovent® HYDRAL mounting adhesive tape is designed for bonding, sealing and repairing vapour control membranes and foils. It reliably bonds foils to plastics, paper, concrete, wood, brick and metal components, helping to limit moisture penetration through joints. It is used for sealing joints between wood-based materials, particularly OSB boards, plasterboard and gypsum fibre boards. It provides a durable seal at board joints and other connections. It is also suitable for attic insulation systems using cellulose blown between the rafters.

To ensure maximum performance of HYDRAL, it is recommended to use it as part of a complete roofing system together with:
- Eurovent® roof membranes (roof underlays / underdeck membranes), which protect the roof structure against moisture and support the effectiveness of hydrophobising treatments in areas exposed to dampness,
- Eurovent® vapour control membranes (vapour barriers), stabilising moisture conditions within building partitions and enhancing the long-term protective effect of HYDRAL,
