EPDM PRO SK
Elastomeric EPDM tape for vertical and horizontal moisture proofing of facade joints and woodwork in construction. It is used to prevent the penetration of moisture from the outside into the facade structures, as well as to drain from the walls of the building, so as to prevent the phenomenon of condensation.

Application and Technical Data
Waterproof and moisture-proof tape for sealing joints between window frames and walls. EPDM PRO SK can be used as a means of preventing water or moisture from entering the wall. The tape is used on the inside of an interior wall to act as a barrier to stop the flow of warm air from inside the building to the outside. The tape is also used as a moisture barrier on the substructure holding the facade panels. An additional function is that the substructure and façade cladding are more easily overlapped by changes in temperature and humidity. The tape is also designed for sealing joints between windows and lightweight curtain walls with aluminum section construction, and the building structure.”

To ensure maximum performance of EPDM PRO SK, it is recommended to use it as part of a complete roofing system together with:
- Eurovent® roof membranes (roof underlays / underdeck membranes), which protect the roof structure against moisture and provide a suitable substrate for durable and flexible sealing of elements with EPDM PRO SK,
- Eurovent® vapour control membranes (vapour barriers), where EPDM PRO SK ensures reliable and airtight sealing of penetrations and connections within the vapour control layer,
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, reinforcing the performance of EPDM PRO SK in areas requiring additional airtightness and resistance to weathering,
- Eurovent® installation accessories, stabilising structural components and enabling correct installation of detailing areas sealed with EPDM PRO SK.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees long-lasting joint tightness, effective protection against water ingress and reliable long-term performance of the roof structure.

How does EPDM PRO SK differ from other EPDM PRO versions?
It has a factory-applied acrylic adhesive layer across its full width. This removes the need to apply adhesive separately to most of the tape surface.
Can it be installed at low temperatures?
Yes. According to the product data, application is possible from approximately –15°C, significantly extending the installation season.
Where is EPDM PRO SK used?
Exclusively outside: around windows, doors and façades, and at connections between façade substructures and the wall.
Is it suitable for ventilated façades?
Yes. It can protect structural joints against rainwater and moisture migration in the façade area.
Why does the EPDM surface have a special texture?
It improves adhesion and helps form durable connections between the tape and subsequent materials within the system.
