DUO DB
Double-sided adhesive tape Eurovent® DUO DB is designed for quick and easy sealing of overlaps of vapour barrier foils, membranes, and other plastic-based building products. Composed of polyester mesh coated on both sides with special adhesive (230 g/m²) based on acrylic dispersion, protected with silicone release paper.

Application and Technical Data
Eurovent® DUO DB double-sided tape is used for sealing and connecting vapour barrier membranes and films. Indispensable for internal applications—it reliably and permanently seals overlaps of vapour barrier membranes, maintaining airtightness at joints or overlaps. It prevents the need to puncture vapour barrier membranes with mechanical fasteners. It enables quick and easy fixing of vapour barrier membranes to roof or wall structures.

To ensure maximum performance of DUO DB, it is recommended to use it as part of a complete roofing system together with:
- Eurovent® vapour control membranes (vapour barriers), which create an airtight vapour control layer, while DUO DB enables durable and secure bonding of membrane overlaps,
- Eurovent® roof membranes (roof underlays / underdeck membranes), where DUO DB ensures airtight connections between layers at junctions of the vapour control membrane and structural elements,
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, complementing the performance of DUO DB in areas requiring additional reinforcement and enhanced airtightness,
- Eurovent® installation accessories, ensuring stability of the entire layered system and proper long-term performance of joints made with DUO DB.

What is DUO DB best used for?
Primarily for quickly bonding overlaps in membranes and vapour control films, and for temporarily fixing them to the structure.
Can DUO DB reduce the need to puncture the vapour control layer?
Yes. The double-sided adhesive allows the membrane to be held locally without additional punctures from mechanical fixings.
Why is the tape very narrow?
Its main purpose is concealed bonding between layers, so it does not require a wide visible surface.
Is DUO DB suitable for installing a vapour control membrane on a wall?
Yes. It can help with quick positioning and fixing of the membrane to a wall or roof structure.
How does it differ from DUO?
Both are double-sided, but DUO is a stronger system solution for many types of membranes, whereas DUO DB focuses primarily on fast bonding and installation of vapour control layers.
