CLIMA 2
Eurovent® CLIMA 2 is a two-layer active vapour control membrane consisting of a polypropylene nonwoven layer and a special functional film. The functional film enables the controlled migration of small amounts of water vapour from inside the building towards the attic and, when required by the conditions, in the opposite direction, giving the membrane the properties of an active vapour control layer.
The membrane is available on request with two self-adhesive strips – SYSTEM SK2.

Application and Technical Data
Eurovent® CLIMA 2 is used as a vapour control layer that regulates water vapour transmission and protects the thermal insulation of roofs and walls against excessive moisture migration from inside the building. Its active properties enable controlled water vapour migration, supporting appropriate moisture conditions within the building envelope and reducing the risk of mould and fungal growth.
Eurovent® CLIMA 2 is recommended for both residential and industrial construction. It is suitable for a wide range of construction technologies, including prefabricated, modular, timber-frame and traditional construction.
When installing Eurovent® CLIMA 2, Eurovent® UNISAN and Eurovent® DUO tapes are recommended for airtight sealing of membrane overlaps, while Eurovent® UNO tape is recommended for sealing connections between the membrane and structural elements.

For a properly installed and airtight CLIMA 2 vapour control layer, it is recommended to use:
- Eurovent® UNISAN tape for airtight sealing of membrane overlaps,
- Eurovent® DUO tape for durable membrane connections,
- Eurovent® UNO tape for sealing connections between the membrane and structural elements,
- a highly vapour-permeable Eurovent® roof membrane, supporting effective moisture evacuation from the roof build-up to the outside.
Using compatible Eurovent® system products helps create an airtight and durable vapour control layer and supports the proper performance of the entire roof assembly.
