CLIMA 100
Eurovent® CLIMA 100 is a vapour barrier membrane with a high Sd value. It consists of a polypropylene nonwoven layer and a special functional film. The functional film forms a barrier that limits water vapour migration from inside the building towards the roof or wall structure, protecting the thermal insulation against excessive moisture ingress and reducing the risk of condensation.
The membrane is available on request with two self-adhesive strips – SYSTEM SK2.

Application and Technical Data
Eurovent® CLIMA 100 is used as a vapour barrier layer limiting water vapour migration from inside the building into the thermal insulation in roof and wall structures. Its high Sd value effectively limits moisture ingress into the layer build-up, supporting the protection of thermal insulation and structural elements against moisture accumulation.
Eurovent® CLIMA 100 is designed for residential and industrial construction. It can be used in various construction technologies, including prefabricated, modular, CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber), timber-frame and traditional construction. It can also be used in passive buildings in accordance with the design requirements of the specific layer build-up.
During installation of Eurovent® CLIMA 100, Eurovent® UNISAN and Eurovent® DUO tapes are recommended for airtight sealing of membrane overlaps, while Eurovent® UNO is recommended for sealing connections with structural elements.

For proper and airtight performance of Eurovent® CLIMA 100, it is recommended to use it together with:
- Eurovent® UNISAN and Eurovent® DUO for durable and airtight sealing of membrane overlaps,
- Eurovent® UNO for sealing connections between the membrane and structural elements,
- highly vapour-permeable Eurovent® roof membranes, supporting moisture evacuation from the roof structure to the outside,
- Eurovent® windproof membranes, providing an external protective layer in wall structures and supporting moisture evacuation from the wall build-up.
Using compatible Eurovent® system solutions helps create an airtight and durable layer system and supports proper water vapour control and moisture evacuation from the structure.

What does an Sd of around 100 m mean?
CLIMA 100 offers very high resistance to water vapour diffusion and acts as a vapour-tight barrier. This parameter should only be used where it matches the design of the complete assembly.
Is a high Sd value always safer?
No. An excessively closed layer used in an unsuitable build-up can restrict the construction’s ability to dry.
How does CLIMA 100 differ from a conventional PE foil with a similar Sd?
It has a membrane structure with PP nonwoven and a functional film, which affects, among other things, installation and the product’s mechanical properties.
Where can CLIMA 100 be used?
In roofs and walls requiring a barrier with high vapour resistance, including various timber and prefabricated construction methods where confirmed by the design.
Is SYSTEM SK2 available?
Yes. A version with two strips that facilitate overlap sealing can be used.
