Expanding tape
COMPRE
Single-sided expanding tape made of flexible polyurethane foam impregnated with modified acrylic. The pre-compressed tape expands after installation, increasing its thickness up to five times. Its primary applications include sealing joints and gaps, as well as providing thermal and acoustic insulation during the installation of windows, doors and garage doors. It is also suitable for filling gaps around roof windows, skylights and roof access hatches. Additionally, it can be used for technical sealing applications and for sealing joints in roof and façade constructions.

Application and technical data
Eurovent® COMPRE X expanding tape is designed as a weather-resistant seal providing protection against water and wind in façades, prefabricated concrete, metal and timber structures, as well as in clinker façades for formwork connections and external joint sealing. It is also suitable for sealing gaps around windows and doors, including the installation of windows, doors, garage doors, roof windows, skylights and roof access hatches.The tape is particularly recommended for sealing joints and gaps during window installation in wall openings with reveals. Eurovent® COMPRE X adheres perfectly and adapts to a wide range of substrates, including wood, brick, metal and concrete. With a BG1 classification and driving rain resistance of ≥ 600 Pa, the tape does not require additional covering after installation and remains resistant to long-term exposure to UV radiation and weather conditions. It provides durable thermal, acoustic and weather-tight sealing throughout the service life of the building envelope.
