VENTOS X FLAT BITU UNI EPDM
The Eurovent® VENTOS X FLAT BITU UNI EPDM roof vent is made of high-quality plastic and a flexible FLEX EPDM insulating collar with a thick butyl layer measuring 300 mm x 550 mm. The profiled cap prevents rainwater ingress. It features a universal base for mounting the vent on trapezoidal sheets. Available in several popular RAL color variants.

Application and Technical Data
Eurovent® VENTOS X FLAT BITU UNI EPDM is used as a roof ventilation component for pitched roofs with a slope from 5˚ to 45˚. It is applied for ventilation of moist air from beneath the roof covering, ensuring proper air circulation and adequate roof ventilation. It features a universal base for installation of the vent on pitched roofs covered, among others, with trapezoidal metal sheets with high and low profiles.

To ensure maximum ventilation performance and tightness of roof connections, Eurovent® VENTOS X FLAT BITU UNI EPDM should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® system installation accessories, such as FLEX X, FLEXOS X and SEAL EPDM, ensuring a durable and tight connection of the ventilation element with the roof covering,
- Eurovent® highly vapour-permeable roof membranes, which support proper roof slope ventilation and protect the roof structure against moisture.
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, protecting the installation area against weather conditions and moisture penetration,
- Eurovent® roof access elements, facilitating safe service access to the ventilation installation area.

Is VENTOS X FLAT a terminal for room ventilation systems?
No. It is a roof-space vent intended to support ventilation of the roof space, rather than a typical terminal for a ventilation duct from a room.
When is a roof-space vent used?
Where the roof ventilation design provides additional air inlet or outlet points. Their number and arrangement should follow the roof construction.
Can FLAT replace proper eaves and ridge ventilation?
It should not be treated as an automatic substitute. It supplements the roof ventilation system.
Which roof pitch is suitable for FLAT?
Check the range in the current technical data sheet for the specific version, as available product materials may differ on this parameter.
Is the FLAT base selected in the same way as for VENTOS X?
Yes. The version must match the specific roof covering or an appropriately selected universal solution.
