STRATOS
The Eurovent® STRATOS roof membrane, double-layer, highly vapour-permeable, polyacrylic coated. It is used for insulated and ventilated sloping roofs, also with full sarking and low pitch. Suitable for concrete, ceramic, metal roofing tiles, aluminium sheets, natural slate. Available as an option with 2 self-adhesive tapes - SYSTEM SK2.

Application and Technical Data
The Eurovent® STRATOS roof membrane is used as an underlay for pitched, insulated and ventilated roofs, especially those with full boarding and a low roof pitch ranging from 12° to 18°. The product does not require a ventilation gap between the membrane and the thermal insulation (mineral wool, glass wool, etc.), which means the membrane may be in direct contact with the insulation. Installation of the final roof covering on the membrane must always be carried out using battens and counter-battens. It is suitable for use under almost all types of roof coverings, in particular ceramic tiles, concrete tiles, metal roofing tiles and aluminium sheets.

In order to achieve maximum durability and full functionality, Eurovent® STRATOS should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes
- Compatible ventilation accessories (ridge tapes, ventilation chimneys)
- Eurovent® system vapour control membranes and wind barrier membranes
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions increases the durability and energy efficiency of the entire roof.

What roofs is STRATOS designed for?
Eurovent® STRATOS is a highly vapour-permeable membrane for demanding pitched roofs. It is also suitable for full sarking and low-pitch roof applications.
Is STRATOS suitable for roof pitches of 12–18°?
Yes, provided the installation follows the technical documentation and the requirements of the chosen roof covering system.
What does 5000 h UV resistance mean?
5000 h is the duration of the laboratory UV ageing test, which confirms enhanced material resistance. It is not the permitted time for leaving the membrane without the final roof covering; according to the technical data sheet, the covering must be installed within 8 weeks.
What does B-s1,d0 mean?
The classification indicates limited contribution to fire, low smoke production and no flaming droplets or particles within the scope of the classification.
Can STRATOS be laid directly on thermal insulation?
Yes. Its high vapour permeability allows direct contact with the insulation.
