SILVER
The Eurovent® SILVER roof foil, micro-perforated, low vapour-permeable. It is made of double-sided coated polymer fabric. The structure of the foil guarantees extremely high tear resistance and resistance to weather conditions as well. Suitable for sloping, ventilated, non-insulated and not fully sarked roofs.

Application and Technical Data
The Eurovent® SILVER roofing film is used as an underlay for ventilated, uninsulated pitched roofs. When applied in insulated roof constructions, the product requires a ventilation gap of at least 5 cm between the film and the thermal insulation (mineral wool, glass wool, etc.), which means the film must not be in direct contact with the insulation. The product should not be used on roofs with full boarding. Installation of the final roof covering on the roofing film must always be carried out using battens and counter-battens.

To achieve maximum durability and full functionality, the Eurovent® SILVER membrane should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes
- Compatible ventilation accessories (ridge tapes, ventilation chimneys)
- Eurovent® system vapour control membranes and wind barrier membranes

What roofs is Eurovent® SILVER designed for?
It is a low vapour-permeable roofing foil for pitched, ventilated, uninsulated roofs without full sarking.
Can SILVER be used on an insulated roof?
Yes, but at least a 5 cm ventilation gap must be maintained between the foil and the insulation.
Is SILVER suitable for full sarking?
No. It is not intended for direct installation on continuous timber decking.
