MONO
The Eurovent® MONO roof membrane, three-layer, highly vapour-permeable, equipped with a special monolithic film. It is used for insulated and ventilated sloping roofs, also with full sarking and a low pitch. Suitable for concrete, ceramic, metal tiles, aluminium sheets, natural slate. Available as an option with 2 self-adhesive tapes - SYSTEM SK2.

Application and Technical Data
The Eurovent® MONO roof membrane is used as an underlay for pitched, insulated and ventilated roofs, including roofs with full boarding. The product does not require a ventilation gap between the membrane and the thermal insulation (mineral wool, glass wool, etc.), which means the membrane may be in direct contact with the insulation. Installation of the final roof covering on the membrane must always be carried out using battens and counter-battens. It is suitable for use under almost all types of roof coverings, in particular ceramic tiles, concrete tiles, metal roofing tiles and aluminium sheets.

In order to achieve maximum durability and full functionality, Eurovent® MONO should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes
- Compatible ventilation accessories (ridge tapes, ventilation chimneys)
- Eurovent® system vapour control membranes and wind barrier membranes
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions increases the durability and energy efficiency of the entire roof.

What distinguishes Eurovent® MONO?
It uses a monolithic functional film responsible for transporting water vapour through the membrane. This differs from conventional membranes based on a microporous structure.
How does a monolithic film differ from a microporous one?
It is a continuous functional layer through which water vapour is transported by diffusion rather than through conventional micropores.
Is MONO suitable for full sarking?
Yes. It can be used on continuous timber decking as a roofing underlay.
Can MONO be laid directly on insulation?
Yes. Its high vapour permeability allows direct contact with thermal insulation.
What coverings can MONO be used under?
Clay and concrete tiles, metal roof tiles, other metal roofing and slate, subject to the roof design.
