METALLIC
The Eurovent® METALLIC roof membrane, three-layer with a braid, which is a separating layer between the membrane and the metal roofing. It is used for insulated and ventilated sloping roofs, also with full sarking finished with standing seam, as well as for facades as a ventilation and separation membrane for metal facades. Available as an option with 1 self-adhesive strip – SYSTEM SK.

Application and Technical Data
The Eurovent® METALLIC roof membrane is used as an underlay for pitched, insulated and ventilated roofs, including roofs with full boarding, under metal roof coverings finished with standing seam. It is also suitable for use in ventilated and non-ventilated metal façades as a drainage and ventilation layer. Thanks to the use of a polypropylene mesh as a separation layer in the production process, a space is created that ensures air circulation and enables the drainage of water and moisture from beneath the metal roof covering, which is crucial for the durability and service life of the roof. The separation layer is 8 mm high. Roof installation requires full boarding in accordance with the installation instructions.

In order to achieve maximum durability and full functionality, Eurovent® METALLIC should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes
- Compatible ventilation accessories (ridge tapes, ventilation chimneys)
- Eurovent® system vapour control membranes and wind barrier membranes
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions increases the durability and energy efficiency of the entire roof.

What is Eurovent® METALLIC used for?
It is a highly vapour-permeable membrane with a separation layer, designed mainly for metal roofing, especially standing seam systems. It combines roofing underlay and ventilation/drainage functions in one product.
What is the function of the mesh?
The mesh creates a space between the membrane and the metal covering. This allows airflow and helps drain moisture and condensate from beneath the metal.
Can METALLIC be used on full sarking?
Yes. In accordance with the installation instructions, full boarding is required when METALLIC is used on a roof.
Is it suitable for façades?
Yes. It can also act as a separation, drainage and ventilation layer beneath metal façade cladding.
How does METALLIC differ from MATT?
METALLIC combines a roofing membrane and separation mesh in one product. MATT is only the separation/drainage layer and does not replace a roofing underlay.
