FASSADE X
Eurovent® FASSADE X is a two-layer, monolithic, highly vapour-permeable wind barrier membrane. It consists of a polyurethane-coated polyester nonwoven and a monolithic functional film that provides effective protection against wind and moisture, high resistance to UV radiation and high water vapour permeability.
The membrane is designed primarily for ventilated façade systems, particularly façades with open joints. Eurovent® FASSADE X maintains its performance in façades with open joints up to 30 mm wide, with up to 30% of the membrane surface exposed. It has a B-s1,d0 reaction-to-fire classification, while its very high resistance to UV radiation has been confirmed by a successfully completed UV 5000 h artificial ageing test.

Application and Technical Data
Eurovent® FASSADE X wind barrier membrane is designed to protect walls against wind, rain and moisture in ventilated façade systems, particularly façades with open joints up to 30 mm wide and with up to 30% of the membrane surface exposed.
It is also suitable for timber-frame, modular and CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) construction, log houses, residential buildings and industrial halls. It is also recommended for passive buildings.
No ventilation gap is required between the membrane and thermal insulation made of mineral or glass wool, which means that the membrane can be installed directly on the thermal insulation layer.

For maximum performance, FASSADE X should be used in combination with:
- UV-resistant Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which ensure durable and tight bonding of overlaps and details in ventilated façade systems,
- Eurovent® installation accessories, enabling correct and stable installation of the membrane in areas exposed to increased wind loads,
- façade battens and substructure elements, which ensure the correct ventilation gap and support moisture removal,
- Eurovent® vapour control membranes, which limit water vapour transfer from the interior and work together with the external FASSADE X wind barrier layer.
Using complete Eurovent® system solutions provides high UV resistance, effective protection of the façade against air leakage and moisture, and improves the durability of the entire façade assembly.
