Façade membrane – UV
FASSADE PLUS
Eurovent® FASSADE PLUS is a two-layer, highly vapour-permeable façade membrane. It consists of a polyester nonwoven layer coated with polyurethane. It has been designed primarily for ventilated façade systems, particularly façades with open joints.
Eurovent® FASSADE PLUS remains stable when used in façades with open joints up to 50 mm wide, exposing a maximum of 40% of the membrane surface. It has a B-s1,d0 fire classification. Its extreme resistance to UV radiation has been confirmed by successfully passing a 5,000-hour artificial UV ageing test.
Available on request with 2 integrated self-adhesive strips – SYSTEM SK2.
Advantages:
- Windproof
- Fire classification B-s1,d0
- Extreme UV resistance – 5,000 h test
- Watertight > 3,000 mm H₂O
- Highly vapour-permeable
Application and Technical Data
Eurovent® FASSADE PLUS is used to protect walls against wind, rain and moisture in ventilated façade systems, particularly façades with open joints up to 50 mm wide, exposing a maximum of 40% of the membrane surface. It is suitable for timber-frame, modular and CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) construction, log houses, residential buildings and industrial halls. It is also recommended for passive house construction.
The product does not require a ventilation gap between the membrane and thermal insulation (mineral or glass wool), which means that the membrane can be installed in direct contact with the insulation.

System products
For optimum performance of FASSADE PLUS, it is recommended to use it together with:
- UV-resistant Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes for durable and tight sealing of overlaps and details in ventilated façades,
- Eurovent® installation accessories for correct and stable installation of the membrane in areas exposed to increased wind loads,
- façade substructure battens and components that ensure the required ventilation gap and support moisture removal from the building envelope,
- Eurovent® vapour control membranes that help stabilise moisture conditions within the building envelope and ensure proper interaction with the FASSADE PLUS windproof layer.
Using complete Eurovent® system solutions provides effective protection of the façade against wind and moisture and supports the long-term durability of the entire façade assembly.

GOOD TO KNOW
When should FASSADE PLUS be considered?
Where the façade design requires wider open joints than the standard FASSADE variants, within the specified product limits.
What open-joint dimensions are permitted?
Up to 50 mm joints and maximum 40% exposed membrane surface.
How does FASSADE PLUS differ from FASSADE and FASSADE X?
Its key practical distinction is the wider permitted opening geometry, along with different mechanical parameters.
Is it still highly vapour-permeable despite its higher weight?
Yes. Material weight and vapour resistance are separate properties.
Does B-s1,d0 cover the entire façade system?
No. It is the product classification; the complete façade must be assessed separately.
