Eurovent® DB vapour barrier film is made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE). It effectively prevents water vapour from migrating from the building interior into wall, floor, ceiling, pitched roof and flat roof structures. The material provides high mechanical strength and resistance to weather conditions such as snow, rain and dust.

Application and Technical Data
Eurovent® DB vapour barrier film is primarily used as an insulating layer that controls water vapour levels in wall, floor, ceiling, flat roof and pitched roof structures. It can also be used as an insulating and acoustic protection layer beneath floor finishes, including laminate flooring. Thanks to its mechanical properties, it is suitable as protective sheeting for building materials, window joinery, roof surfaces and façades during installation and finishing work.

To ensure maximum performance of the DB roof membrane, it is recommended to use it together with:
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which improve the tightness of overlaps and all installation joints,
- Eurovent® ventilation accessories, supporting proper air circulation and reducing the risk of condensation within the roof structure,
- Eurovent® eaves system components, ensuring effective water drainage and a stable air intake under the roof covering,
- Eurovent® roof clips, which stabilize the roof covering and increase the system’s resistance to wind and snow loads.
