ANTIBIRD DUO
Eurovent® ANTIBIRD DUO is a bird spike system with a polycarbonate base and flexible steel spikes. It is designed to deter birds from landing on roofs, window sills, cornices and other façade elements. The modular design allows individual sections to be connected to form a continuous barrier matching the length of the protected surface. The product is resistant to weathering and UV radiation.

Eurovent® ANTIBIRD DUO is used to protect roofs, cornices, window sills and other building elements where birds may perch, nest and leave droppings.
The modules are fixed using multipurpose sealants or adhesives suitable for the substrate. Individual sections can be connected to form a continuous barrier of the required length.

Eurovent® ANTIBIRD DUO can be used as part of a building’s bird protection measures. When completing the eaves area, consider other Eurovent® products that perform separate functions within the roofing system:
- Eurovent® eaves flashing – directs water into the gutter and protects the eaves edge against water ingress.
- Eurovent® highly vapour-permeable roof membranes – form the roof underlay and allow water vapour to escape from the roof layers.
- Eurovent® eaves ventilation grille – protects ventilation openings at the eaves while allowing airflow.
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes – seal joints according to the intended use of each product.
Bird spikes deter birds from landing on selected surfaces, while the other accessories provide water drainage, ventilation and joint sealing. Products should be selected to suit the roof construction and installation conditions.

How does ANTIBIRD DUO discourage birds?
Flexible steel spikes make landing and remaining on the protected surface difficult. The system is designed to discourage perching rather than trap birds.
Can the modules be connected?
Yes. Individual units can be joined to protect longer sections of sills, cornices or other building elements.
How is ANTIBIRD DUO fixed?
The fixing method should be selected according to the substrate and installation conditions. Suitable adhesives or mechanical fixings may be used in accordance with current instructions.
Does the system require maintenance?
Periodic inspection of the fixing and removal of accumulated debris is recommended, particularly on exposed building elements.
