BUTYL material

Products bearing this mark are made wholly or partly from butyl adhesive – BUTYL (Butyl adhesive).

Butyl is a flexible, ageing-resistant adhesive material widely used in Eurovent® products and in roofing, for example for durable bonding and sealing of building materials, including highly vapour-permeable roof membranes, vapour control membranes and films, housewrap membranes and other structural elements. It is used in Eurovent® BUTYL adhesive tapes and forms the main adhesive layer in chimney flashing tapes such as Eurovent® FLEX 3D. It is also used in ridge ventilation rolls such as Eurovent® ROLL STANDARD and in the bases of Eurovent® VENTOS X roof ventilation terminals.
