Bituminous membranes are traditional solutions for waterproofing roofs and foundations. In Eurovent® roofing systems, they are used primarily as a roofing underlay – a roof membrane. They offer high watertightness, durability and resistance to moisture. Additional coatings also allow their use beneath metal and bituminous roofing, bituminous shingles, timber shingles and natural slate.

A representative product is Eurovent® BITUMI, a watertight bituminous roof membrane used as an underlay for pitched roofs with full timber boarding. It is particularly suitable beneath bituminous shingles, bituminous roof tiles, roofing slate and timber shingles.
